ABOUT MARCIA MORENO
Marcia’s journey is truly an American story - a North and South American one. Born and raised in Chile, she came to the U. S. in 2005 to pursue her graduate studies and has lived here since.
The immigrant experience demonstrated to Marcia firsthand what it means to not feel included and not be heard - which informs her work.
Blending her personal experience with her professional expertise, she now makes it her mission to pave a better road for up-and-coming Latino talent, including her bilingual 9-year-old.
In 2018, Marcia founded AmMore Consulting LLC to focus her passion for elevating Cleveland’s Latino professionals and helping organizations become Latino Ready™.
Through her work with AmMore, Marcia has received multiple awards for her leadership, including 2021 Crain’s Women of Note, Notable Immigrant of the Year (Global Cleveland & Crain’s, 2020), LeadDIVERSITY Alumni of the Year (Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio & PWC, 2020). Recently, she was awarded first place by the Northeast Ohio Hispanic Business Center Adelante Business Pitch Competition. She was also recently selected as one of the 75 business nationwide to receive the ”Unfinished Business” award presented by Hennessy.
Marcia has a background in communications and obtained her master’s degree in Applied Communications from Cleveland State University. She is a 2009 graduate of LeadDIVERSITY, she is a sought-after DEI thought leader, and is continually building her subject-matter expertise through ongoing training and certifications. Her drive for more inclusive and equitable environments energizes her involvement in local organizations, including the Young Latino Network, College Now, Global Cleveland, and more.

Marcia is the president and founder of AmMore Consulting LLC, a firm dedicated to helping organizations become Latino Ready and supporting Latino talent to succeed and thrive. AmMore's consulting signature program, launched in 2020, is the 100+ Latinos Cleveland Must Know, a visibility and opportunity platform focused on highlighting regional Latino talent and providing a public database for companies and organizations looking to diversify their workforce, board of directors, suppliers, among other areas. Given the success of this platform, AmMore will be launching in the next week a more comprehensive service to continue supporting Latino talent and organizations: Latino Ready membership, an annual program that will offer culturally centered curriculum, resources, events and tools for both organizations and Latino professionals.
